Prenatal and Women's Gentle Yoga

Olena
Olena Kolomiyets is a Certified Yoga and Pilates instructor. She's been teaching weekly classes since 2002 at various Yoga and Pilates studios in Loudoun County.  In 2004, Olena completed a year-long alignment-based Yoga teacher training program at HAYC in Virginia, and went on a month long trip to Mysore, India, to study yoga at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute under its founder, Sri Pattabhi Jois.
In the summer of 2009, Olena completed Relax and Renew: Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with the leading authority on restorative yoga, Judith Lasater, to enhance her ability to teach prenatal yoga to her expecting clients. Olena defines yoga as a discipline of self-transformation for it has the power to transform both bodies and lives for better. Her students say that Olena's teaching is non-intrusive, yet instructional, and her demonstration of yoga postures gives them something to strive for.
Olena believes in progressing her students at their own pace honoring where they are in their practice.  Being a dedicated practitioner herself and a teacher who still delights in learning from others, she offers classes where you can learn does not matter your yoga experience and be challenged does not matter your fitness level. Olena refers to it as a journey on the mat that never repeats itself and takes you places you've never been before. Let your journey begin! Visit her website to learn more about Olena.

Stroller Fitness

Angie
Angie is a certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor that has been teaching stroller fitness classes for the last six years.  She loves sharing what she has learned and teaches with the goal that her clients obtain "functional fitness" and have fun while they are doing it.  At the same time fitness is a personal thing so every class is planned with the intention of showing each individual how to modify the exercises so that they are being challenged at their level; and all while having fun!
