The Benefits of a Workplace Wellness Program
 
Typically, organizations view employee health and well-being as the responsibility of the individual. Recently, research has demonstrated that employees who participate in a workplace wellness program have increased productivity, less absenteeism, and fewer turnovers. These outcomes are a combination of employees having less health problems (e.g., improved blood pressure/cholesterol levels, reduced fat consumption) and feeling more engaged because their organization is investing in their health and well-being.
 
When an employer decides to invest in a workplace wellness program, it is important to take into account the fitness and nutrition needs of their employees. This can be achieved by creating a customized program to educate and provide practical examples that will benefit all involved and have a long-term impact.
 
The Tailored Approach
 
Our Industrial/Organizational Psychologist will administer a survey that identifies your staff’s (men and women) wellness knowledge and needs.  Based on the survey results, we will create a recommended tailored strategy for improving employee health and well-being at your workplace. Our certified instructors and Registered Dietitians can come to your office or we can arrange an off-site location to provide nutritional seminars, team building exercises, yoga classes, fitness classes or any combination these activities. Seminar topics can be chosen by the employer or selected from our list of recommended topics, and a catered lunch can be added for the attendees.
  
 
Types of Services

 

Team Building Exercises

Let our Industrial/Organizational Psychologist facilitate customized team building exercises for your employees.  These group exercises will help develop cohesion and promote social interaction among your staff.

 
 

Office Yoga (60 minutes)

An introductory yoga class which combines yoga postures and breathing exercises to inspire awareness of mind, body and spirit.

   
 

Nutritional Seminar: Single Class (60 minutes)

A group seminar given by our Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with the topics of your choice.* Will focus on eating/cooking healthy, and improving overall quality of life.

 

 

Nutritional Seminar: The Accelerated Series Package
(Five 60-90 min. sessions)

Re-design your team’s habits, behaviors and nutrition know-how to be in alignment with your company's wellness goals and inspire smart eating everyday.

 

 

Nutritional Seminar: The Energy Series Package
(Three 60-90 min. sessions)

Perfect for addressing a topic-specific health challenge facing your company's work-force.

 

 

Express Yoga and Nutritional Seminar (90 minutes)

Combination 45 minutes of Yoga and a 45 minute Nutritional Seminar.

 

 

Personalized Fit for Work Classes

FitMommi will customize a fitness classes based on the needs identified in the initial health and wellness survey.  

 

 
 
Cost of Services

 

The cost for each package depends on the number of attendees, the number of seminar topics chosen, any combination of the above services, and office location.

 
A catered lunch can be added to any of the above packages.
